I recently started listening to The Smiths again, and they remain one of my all-time favorite bands. (I’m usually not a mopey person, though, I swear!) This is actually a Morrissey solo performance, but it’s a fantastic song that sounds better here than it does on record — plus you get all that bizarre yet undeniable Moz charm (I have no clue what’s with the shirt he’s wearing, but damn, I wish my hips could move like that).

And make no mistake, my friend, your pointless life will end
