On the subject of hyper-emo mix CDs: The Clientele’s “Since K Got Over Me” is one of a handful of songs — Built to Spill’s “Else” is another, as is Neutral Milk Hotel’s “Gardenhead/Leave Me Alone” — that somehow shows up on just about every one I make.
At some point, I’m gonna go through all my old mixes, pull out the songs that appear multiple times, and create PC’s Ultimate Mix CD, Vol. 1 — the mix of my life (actual title TBD).
